I’ve always believed that the best moments in life begin with a good cup of coffee – early mornings around the campfire, slow cabin mornings, or just catching up with someone you love. For me, coffee has always been about connection.

I grew up spending summers at a quiet campground tucked along a river, where days were filled with adventure, nights were spent stargazing, and stories came alive by the fire. Winters brought cozy trips to the snow with my family, where we’d start the day with hot coffee, play games, laugh, and just enjoy each other’s company. Those moments, as simple as they were, became the ones I cherished most.

My family has always been my foundation. They taught me how to celebrate life – every little win, every ordinary day – and to truly live it. Even now, with distance between us, they’ve been my biggest supporters in bringing this dream to life. Odd Roots is a reflection of those roots – of where I come from, the people who shaped me, and the joy of being present with the people you love.

Now here in Austin, with my husband and our two girls, we’ve made this place our home. And through Odd Roots, I’m creating a space where others can feel that same sense of belonging, connection, and comfort – one cup at a time.
